Mechanical testing is used to establish the expected mechanical performance of a material, such as its strength, ductility, and toughness. Fusion Engineering performs all standard materials testing techniques such as hardness testing, tensile and compression testing, Charpy Impact testing, and fracture toughness testing. Fusion Engineering’s engineers are also highly skilled in the analysis of these test results and apply the information gleaned from these results in design analysis and failure analysis investigations.

Standard & Custom Material Performance Testing

Fusion Engineering also performs customized testing of materials and equipment that cannot be tested using traditional techniques.
