Mr. Michael Rogers is responsible for engineering activities involving various types of vehicles and transportation related equipment as well as activities involving machine design and mechanical systems evaluations. He specializes in accident reconstruction and design analysis of vehicles and equipment utilized either on-highway or off-highway including material handling and construction related applications.

His background and experience include the analysis of vehicle system and component design and performance in a variety of applications. He has extensive knowledge of equipment used in industrial and construction applications including forklifts, personnel lifts and earthmoving equipment and is familiar with industry regulation and standards. He currently serves on the Industrial Truck Standards Development Foundation B56.1 and B56.10 standards committees and is a trained lift truck operator for sit-down, stand-up, order picker and walkie rider type of lift trucks.

Mr. Rogers has undergone specialized training in accident reconstruction including heavy truck accident reconstruction and the use of computer based accident reconstruction simulation software. He has many years of experience conducting testing of vehicles and vehicle components including bench testing of specific components up to and including full scale vehicle crash testing. He also has specific training in vehicle brake and restraint systems as well as vehicle fire investigation.
